Debido a las circunstancias que estamos viviendo actualmente con el COVID-19, el LEAP STEAM + E, Puerto Rico, está realizando webinars para los líderes de la comunidad de Parcelas Falú. Los webinars tienen como objetivo empoderar a los líderes de la comunidad y darles herramientas para que puedan servir a su comunidad en tiempos de crisis. On Thursday June 11th, the LEAP Social Enterprise team held a webinar with community members from the Parcelas Falú. On this session the Leap Social Enterprise team shared the Questions & Answers of the Focus Group that took place the previous week. El 28 de Mayo, el equipo del LEAP Social Enterprise realizó un webinar con miembros comunitarios de las Parcelas Falú, maestros, y un periodista local. En esta oportunidad se realizó una presentación sobre La Ley 85, Escuelas Alianza y el Rol de la Junta Escolar. Se dió enfoque a la estructura y rol que la Junta Escolar tiene dentro de la Escuela Alianza, así como también a las prioridades y abogacía para las Escuelas Alianza. Oprima aquí para la presentacion

El Jueves 11 de Junio, el equipo de LEAP Social Enterprise realizó un webinar con miembros comunitarios deOn May 28th, the LEAP Social Enterprise team held a webinar with community members from the Parcelas Falú, teachers, and a local journalist. On this session, the LEAP team shared a presentation about the Law 85, Charter Schools and the Role of the School Board. The presentation focused on the structure and role that the School Board has within the Charter School, as well as priorities and advocacy for Charter Schools. Click here to download presentation.

In this session, we had the opportunity to learn more about the best practices of community organizing that Parcelas Falú leaders have been implementing in their community.
